GigaFast :: Eggcam
GigaFast wanted to create a new home monitor system that is easy to setup and can send and receive the video signal through existing home electrical wires rather than wireless signals. Users can monitor their home anytime from anywhere in the world with iOS/Android devices. Unlike most home monitoring systems, this system does not need website configuration or long serial numbers to enter. The entire setup takes only three easy steps: simply plug in the camera, download the app for either iOS or Android devices, and scan the QR code for pairing.
We took this opportunity to design the home monitor that is visually pleasing even if placed in the baby's room. We gave the monitor a streamline egg-shape design, inspired by the concept of an egg snugging gently inside a nest. The monitor angles can be easily adjusted by hand. Once the angle is set, it rests snuggly on the colored silicone stand.
