L’Idiot Restaurant :: Photography
We love photographing food and we love photographing well-designed environments even more. So when the creative director at L'Idiot Restaurant gave us this opportunity to shoot their new restaurant and its food, we knew we have hit the jackpot! The interior designer, JAHAA 頡合設計, did a fabulous job of preserving some elements already existing and combining with the new. Their play with different material/texture and the ambiance from the lighting, accentuates the food at L'Idiot.
During the photoshoot, the head chef/owner, Fudy, shared with us his vision of creating these dishes with ingredients directly from his farm not far from the restaurant as well as a special technique of aging the meat to have hint of smoked wooden taste in their steak. We had a great time capturing these alluring aspects of Fudy's food creation along with the space within that is equally just as powerful.
